Ambassador Gabriel Olusanya is an accomplished Diplomat and Academic. He retired as a Professor of History from University of Lagos; Nigeria, was Pioneer Director of Studies, National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Nigeria; Former Director, Correspondence and Open Studies Institute (now Distance Learning Institute) University of Lagos; and Director General, Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA) between April 1984 and January 1991.

He was appointed Ambassador of Nigeria to the Republic of France, from1991 to September 1995 and after his Ambassadorial posting, he became the Director General, Nigerian Institute of Management in 1997-2001.He was also the Director, Nigerian Council for Management Development (NCMD), 2001-2004.

Till date, Amb. Olusanya is a Director of Exmore Consulting; Chairman CISME Consulting Ltd; Chairman, Academic Board, Center for Investment Sustainable Development & Environment; Chairman, Center for Trade Practitioners; Member, A G Leventis (Egba) Scholarship Board; Director, Majekodunmi Foundation; Director, Patal Foundation; Member (Core Group) Convention on Business Integrity (CBI) and Foundation Member, Initiative for Good Governance. He is listed in several world renowned biographical books.
