Mr. Adekunle Olumide is a renowned diplomat who has made his mark in both public and private sectors. He obtained BA Hons. History, (London) and then joined the Ministry of External Affairs where he made his mark and later joined the Home Service where he rose to the position of Permanent Secretary. He voluntarily retired from public service in 1991.
Upon retirement from the public service in 1991, he joined the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) as the first Director General and made tremendous contribution to

reposition the 103 year's old (established1888) organization. He retired from the chamber in 2005. He is presently a Non-Executive Director of United Bank for Africa PLC, (UBA PLC) and Consultant to the American Business Council in Nigeria.
